Choosing the Right Realtor®

Now most of you know that finding a Realtor® is not that difficult as there are several in almost every corner – from the back of magazines to bus stop benches, you can easily find an ad of a real estate agent. What is difficult however is finding a “good” one. I quoted “good” because this is relative to each individual. Some people like the personable, talkative, easygoing Realtor® while others would prefer a more serious and professional agent helping them out.

With the barriers for entry to be a Realtor® being relatively slim, it is no surprise that there are so many real estate agents out there. Some have been in the business for ages while others are quite new. Some work fulltime while others do it on the side. Others have even recently switched careers.

Clearly there are many options out there and it is fortunate that we have the opportunity to choose which ones to work with. This article will point out some key things to consider when choosing your Realtor® and hopefully help guide you in selecting the right one for you. Here are some things to consider: Read More »

Realtor® Tools: Personal Website

Unless you have been living under a rock for the past 20 years, you might have heard of this “little thing” called the Internet. Yet it baffles me that so many people, businesses specifically, have yet to take full advantage of this amazing technology.

This article will focus on Realtors® and more specifically why they should have their own personal, individual website and how to go about creating one. A key statistic from www.Realtor.org is that when individuals conduct a home search, the number one source of information is the Internet at 90%. Hence it is extremely important for every Realtor® to have a website and be online for people to find. Read More »

Realtor® Tools: Informed Buyer Package

Realtors® nowadays face more competition than ever. Not only do they compete against other Realtors®, but now with the Internet, homeowners have more tools to sell their homes themselves with homebuyers easily finding them. More and more, you find signs of homes being sold “by the owner”, allowing them to cut costs from hiring a Realtor®.

Yet it is this same technology that is providing Realtors® with more and more tools to help them be more productive and competitive. A tool that Realtors® should have these days is a digital information package. Read More »

The First Step in Buying a Home

Like anything else, before buying a house, you have to know how much you have to spend. The first step to successfully buying a home is knowing what you can afford.

Before even starting your search for that perfect home, it is often best to consult with your lender or mortgage broker to get a mortgage pre-approval first. This is because once you do have a pre-approval, you will know how much money you have to spend and what price range of houses you can afford. Read More »

Bang For Your Buck Renovations

Depending on certain areas, there are certain things that you could renovate to get the most “bang for your buck”. Typically, kitchens, bathrooms, and basements are always the first thing that homeowners renovate to improve the value of their home – and for good reason.

These are the places where we spend most of our active time indoors. Yes, we spend about eight hours in our bedrooms but how much of that are we actually conscious to notice the details of our surroundings. Even the living room does not get that much attention as we usually have our television there. Read More »

PrimoAgents.com has just launched as a completely FREE online referral network for Realtors® across Canada (and soon to the U.S.). We are looking for Realtors® who use technology to drive their business, specialize in relocation and have a reputation for providing top-notch customer service. Each Realtor® listed on PrimoAgents.com has a full page profile to promote themselves, and their own personal interface to track referrals and leads. We are not a brokerage or affiliated with any brokerage, nor do we take any fees or commissions – we simply want to provide an easier way for Realtors® to share referrals with others like themselves.

Why not apply today or learn more about what we have to offer. There is limited availability in each area – so don’t lose out.
